To date, there aren’t significant studies that compare the thoughts of Rosmini and Teilhard de Chardin. By briefly explaining the historical-cultural reasons behind this absence, the reasons that justify the interest in a comparison between the two authors are found in their interpretation. The consideration of Rosminian theodicy (originated also from the one of Vico), in the light of the complex Teilhardian conception of evolution, shows the key points of the relevance of the use of Rosminian metaphysics to elaborate a systematic theology, from the starting point indicated and not carried out in Teilhardian thought.
