Abstract

This essay aims to outline a short profile of the Italian philosopher Piero Martinetti, one of the rarest metaphysical minds who walked the philosophical paths of the twentieth century. By retracing his troubled intellectual journey and analyzing his philosophical work, the article aims to shed light on one of the most original Italian thinkers of the early twentieth century, whose work – which has not yet been submitted to a comprehensive and systematic evaluation – can still represent a fervent laboratory of thought and reflection.
