Abstract

The author holds that the recognition of sexual and reproductive rights to women with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities is consistent with the revision of the image of the right holder produced under the impulse of the feminisms and the disability studies. In some of their versions, these proposals give relevance to the bodily and biological dimension of the human beings, introduce vulnerability as an element of the human condition and assign a main place in the public ethics to care.
